Commercial Description:
A complex malt and hop theme park in your mouth
Named after the hop flower Humulus Lupulus, this India Pale Ale style beer has enormous amounts of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. With a very complex malt bill, flavors seem to meld with the hops to balance this ale and provide a ridiculous urge to sample more.

Sent as an extra from dfschmeke. Thanks! This was a tasty IPA. The nose had lots of citrus and floral hops with a touch of sweetness hidden under the great hoppy nose. Pours hazy golden orange with a thin head and some good lace. The flavor is initially nice and citrusy, pretty fruity, some underlying sweet malty notes, and a long dry bitter finish. Lots of mouth coating resins. Good stuff!

Draught at HopCat in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Slightly hazy orange light amber color with a foamy off white head. Extremely fruity citric, hoppy aroma. Very sweet hops orangey flavor with a nice full hoppy finish. Light bodied.

Draft. Pours a hazy light amber color with a medium sized off white head. The aroma was a burst of fresh citrusy hops, grapefruit, pine, and some sweet malt. The flavor is more fresh citrus hops, grapefruit, moderately sweet malt, herbal, pine, heavy dry bitter finish. The bitterness lingers for a while. Medium bodied, rough at the start, but very enjoyable.

12 oz bottle: Aroma is nice piny hop scent, citrus, sour, and a light caramel malt note in the background. Appearance is a very lightly cloudy golden with a hint of amber poking through with a medium sized white head that lingered. Taste is wonderfully bitterm hops, pine, on the backend some malts poking through. Palate is exciting once it hits your tongue, mouthfeel in medium, and aftertaste has a medium hop characteristic. Overall, Pretty darn good stuff in my honest opinion. I liked it. Cheers!

12oz bottle thanks to Northernbrews. Pours hazy orange with 2 finger white head. Aroma is awesome. Loaded with tons of citrus and floral hops. Also picking up pine and candied sugar. Flavor is caramel malts, bitter hops, grapefruits and other citrus flavors. Nice malty backbone to balace bitter hops. Pretty solid IPA.

12oz bottle traded for at DLD. pours a very clear, golden orange with a thin, white head. aroma is excellent with fresh, citrusy hop notes of grapefruit and orange with very nice floral and pine elements backed by a touch candied sugar sweetness. flavor is quite good as well and follows the aroma with bitter, citrus hops up front, and a nice nutty, malt balance with a floral hop finish. palate is crisp and refreshing with solid carbonation. overall, a very nice IPA.

Poured at DLD. Very damn good. Copper pour. Small white head. Tons of resinous and citrus hops. I smell some malt...almost more than I would have exptected. The hops jump out and tons of grapefruit and pine flavors join a really strong malt backbone. Almost seems like an IIPA to me. Very nice.
