Light light unclear medium orange color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, light caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, grapefruit, orange - citrus peel. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and heavy bitter with a long duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20090913]

Nov 1, 2009 Poured thick with an aroma contained citrus and a wonderful mixtures of hops that screams out of the glass. A super dry and crisp taste both in the mouth and the throat. Although slightly one-dimensional, I completely agree with the commercial description that this is a ’A complex malt and hop theme park in your mouth’. Cheers.

Oct 8, 2009 Bottle from Eastman Party Store in Midland MI. Pours orange amber with dissipating ivory head and soda like carbonation. Floral hop aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Malt profile is a melding of toffee, caramel, and toasty malts, but the hops just bombard your palate, in a good way. Bitterness is a puckering grapefruit rind, orange, and grassy bitterness. Long dry bitter piney finish that seems to cling on the palate forever. A hop bomb for sure, and unbalanced as hell, but I sort of liked it.

Oct 6, 2009 12 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with mibirder. Pours a mostly clear gold with a thin linen white head. The aroma is malt along with some musty orange. The flavor begins with malt up front followed by pine bitterness that lingers for several seconds beyond the swallow. Dry finish. The bitterness is a little over the top for me while lacking a bit in flavor.

Sep 26, 2009 Bottle. Big sweetness with candied orange and a minor musky pine note. Cloudy pour, gold with a very thin white head and lots of carbonation. Good balanced flavor with a strong bitter side. Opens sweet with interlaced firm bitterness into a slightly harsh finish. Good texture with an astringent finish.

Sep 20, 2009 Bottle pours orange color with off white head. Aroma is spicy hop pine and citrus. Tingly mouthfeel. Flavor is strong pine, hop resin, grapefruit, and finishes with a brutal bitter punch in the tongue. This was a very bitter brew and is very aggressive. I like it!

Sep 17, 2009 12 oz bottle courtesy of daknole. Thanks a million. Pours a hazy copper color with a medium white head that has fair retention and fair lacing. The aroma is soft and floral with some jasmie, citrus and pine. The flavor is biter hops forward with earthy pine, sweet fruits and grapefruit.The finish is long and harshly biter. The palate is light and malty. Overall: A fair IPA but not top tier.
