Commercial Description:
A complex malt and hop theme park in your mouth
Named after the hop flower Humulus Lupulus, this India Pale Ale style beer has enormous amounts of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. With a very complex malt bill, flavors seem to meld with the hops to balance this ale and provide a ridiculous urge to sample more.

Pours golden orange with a stick white head. Dark honey malt and piney hop aromas. Lots of malty flavor give way to tounge singing pine bitterness. Medium body with some oil. Pretty dry finish.

Bottle via trade on BA. Golden orange pour with medium white head. Aroma is grapefruit and floral hops and a little malt. Flavor is mostly hops - grapefruit and pine needles - as well as some pale/biscuity malt that does not add much sweetness, letting the hops do their thing. Dry, hoppy finish and a medium body. Good for the style.

no head, orange unfiltered body, citrus hop nose, stinks of centennial, dry spicy bitters and bright hop flavors, pretty decent IPA

Mmmmm, delicious hoppy aroma. Nice and grape fruity with an obvious malt back bone. Flavour seems to be less hoppy than the taste would let on, kind of has a PNW feel to it without a ton of bittnerness. Great o drink, and easy, too!

Appears cloudy but bubbly in my Sam Adams Sensory glass. Not much in the way of head or retention. Apple cider look. Smells very fruity. Excuse my smell sense, I haven’t reviewed in a while so I can’t get much more specific than that. It is an enticing smell. Taste is a bit subdued compared to the smell, definitely some bitterness and a good taste, just a bit more mild than I would prefer. Mouth is thin and bubbly, a good mix, though I have been shown a thicker IPA and it was damn good. Another goodie from Shorts.

Smells of citrus and hops. The flavor starts well with a strong, hop and citrus taste. It tapers a little off at the end but is certainly not watery. Overall a good IPA.

praise be to Milos. hazy light copper in appearance. nose is heavy with hops, smells like a bag of sticky buds, sweet dough, pine tree, clove, citrus, herbal, i wish they made cologne like this! extremelly dry on the palate, a little low on the carbonation, solid bitterness with just enough sweetness. i likey!

Draft at the brewery. Pours a pretty amber with a nice strong citrus hop nose. Flavor is bitter citrus hops all along. Pretty good with a lingering finish.
