Commercial Description:
A complex malt and hop theme park in your mouth
Named after the hop flower Humulus Lupulus, this India Pale Ale style beer has enormous amounts of hop bitterness, flavor and aroma. With a very complex malt bill, flavors seem to meld with the hops to balance this ale and provide a ridiculous urge to sample more.

Bottle from Eastman Party Store in Midland MI. Pours orange amber with dissipating ivory head and soda like carbonation. Floral hop aroma. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Malt profile is a melding of toffee, caramel, and toasty malts, but the hops just bombard your palate, in a good way. Bitterness is a puckering grapefruit rind, orange, and grassy bitterness. Long dry bitter piney finish that seems to cling on the palate forever. A hop bomb for sure, and unbalanced as hell, but I sort of liked it.

Copper amber pour from a 12 oz bottle. Medium white head. Fine aroma of conifer, citrus, and aromatic hops. Satisfying palat with no skimping on the maltiness. Favor is nicely balanced between maltiness and coniferous hops. Not too light in the body an dnot doing the "hops for the sake of hops" thing. A sold, well balanced, full bodied IPA.

A pretty average IPA, pours a bit dark with a white head. Smells hoppy. A very average IPA in all aspects, the bottle claims it is a ’theme park in your mouth’ and I’m not so sure about that.

Hazed orange, foamy white head. Aroma is pine and grapefruit and a good balance of dank and floral. Very resinous taste, bitter dry finish.

Golden pour, a thin, lingering head. Rests in glass a delightful amber color. Aroma is strongly citrus, slightly piney. Flavor has stronger pine notes, citrus still there: tangerine, grapefruit, also pineapple. Aftertaste very bitter, some citrus and pine still there. Moderate carbonation. Will buy again. A nice, rich flavored beer I’d recommend to friends I don’t have.

Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange, tea, caramel, light vegetal notes and bready. Flavor of the same but didn’t ge the vegetal.

12 oz. cloudy burnished medium amber. dense creamy tan head, really sticks around. big piney nose. creamy medium body with massive carbonation, almost prickly. pine and bitter resin combined with hop oils, acids, and some sharp carbonic bite make this a very bitter, almost tannicly clenching finish. pretty intense, but still refreshing, interesting, and drinkable.

Bottle... Pours hazy and golden with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is pink grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is very bitter with only a rumor of acidity. Lengthy, bitter finish.
