At the brewery in May. Cloudy yellow gold topped with a thin white head. Piney hop aroma, lightly sticky. Very bitter up front and on the finish. Good, but a little 1-D.

Dec 17, 2009 Golden pour, a thin, lingering head. Rests in glass a delightful amber color.
Aroma is strongly citrus, slightly piney.
Flavor has stronger pine notes, citrus still there: tangerine, grapefruit, also pineapple.
Aftertaste very bitter, some citrus and pine still there.
Moderate carbonation.
Will buy again.
A nice, rich flavored beer I’d recommend to friends I don’t have.

Dec 10, 2009 Pours a translucent golden amber with a medium bubbly off white head. Aroma of pine, grapefruit, orange, tea, caramel, light vegetal notes and bready. Flavor of the same but didn’t ge the vegetal.

Dec 7, 2009 12 oz. cloudy burnished medium amber. dense creamy tan head, really sticks around. big piney nose. creamy medium body with massive carbonation, almost prickly. pine and bitter resin combined with hop oils, acids, and some sharp carbonic bite make this a very bitter, almost tannicly clenching finish. pretty intense, but still refreshing, interesting, and drinkable.

Dec 4, 2009 Bottle... Pours hazy and golden with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Fantastic retention. The aroma is pink grapefruit. Medium to full-bodied with tickling carbonation. The flavor is very bitter with only a rumor of acidity. Lengthy, bitter finish.

Dec 2, 2009 Thanks to jgd0608 for the bottle! A dark orange color with faint white head. A very potent hop aroma. Maybe the hopka damaged my palate, but I smell smell the same delicious soapy, resin character that I got from that. Just enough malt to make it palatable and then all hops on the body. Very bitter!

Nov 30, 2009 pours nice orange color with big white foam, nose is citrus and some pine with a little sweet malts in the background
flavor is a big wallop of hops up front, in the middle and on the finish... nice IPA some malt in the back balancing but this is all about the dance of the hops.

Nov 20, 2009 12oz from Joey, thanks buddy. Glad to try this damn fine IPA. Really nice hoppy citrussy weedy ipa. Pours orange with a nice tan head. Nose is sweet and full of weed like resin. Pine resin citrus taste. Yum
