Bottled. A pitch black beer with a thin brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of roasted malt, caramel, and coffee as well as hints of diacethyl. The flavor is sweet malty again with strong notes of roasted malt as well as notes of caramelcoffee, vanilla, and wood, leading to a bitter finish with an alcohol burn.

(Bottle 75 cl) Pours a warm reddish brown with a light brown head. Burned malty aroma with some vanilla. Quite full-bodied with distinct burned malty notes and ashes combined with a strange unclean edge. Extreme malt astringency in the finish. 311008

Tasting at Papsoe
Black color. Solid Stout, quite Imperial, on the minus side there is some glue aroma, bread dough; on the plus side there is an unusual cookie touch. Good.
