awaisanen (1279), Irvine, California, USA Sep 5, 2007 On tap at the brewery. Pours a mostly hazy, pink lemonade color with a thin pinkish head. Lots of raspberries in the nose, but not overly sweet or seedy. A thin, bread-like malt aroma supplements calmly, along with a gentle yeast fruitiness. Light bodied, mildly carbonated mouthfeel. Clean flavors. Mild raspberry fruits initially appear on the palate, which then opens up to a soft, yet firm bready malt palate. Finishes dry with a final smack of slightly herbal raspberry seeds. Refreshing, clean, and drinkable; it obviously wasn’t intended to be a big bold fruit beer, and it successfully meets it’s target.
