egajdzis (3021), Terrapin, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 14, 2008 Poured a hazy orange amber color with a large, white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of peaches, lactose, toasted dough, and a bit of alcohol. Taste of more peaches, toffee malts, lighter lactose than the aroma, and some alcohol in the finish. Thanks to hopdog for this! TomDecapolis (2481), Skippack, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 13, 2008 Thanks to hopdog for sharing...gusher alter! Pours a hazy golden/orange wiht a large creamy/bubbly off white lacing head. Aroma of fresh peach pie...and boy do I love me some peach pie. Doughy, vanilla and peaches. Also getting some light alcohol in the nose. Flavors of the same...more of the peaches than the vanilla and doughy notes I was getting in the aroma. A touch of bitterness...and still a very nice peachy flavor. Alcohol is totally hidden. Pretty much exaclty what you would think from the description...but well done (and there is a lot of room for error when you try to brew a "Peaches and Cream" beer). Miver (435), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 21, 2008 Thank you to Hopdog for supplying this surprisingly nice treat at a tasting. Poured gold copper in color with a small white head. Aroma of strong peaches, with a nice touch of lactose. Very nice body with tastes of sweet peaches, vanilla, lactose. I was surprised this worked so well as a beer, but with Shorts, I guess I should have known. Very nice. axilla (942), New Providence, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 16, 2008 Courtesy of hopdog. Pours a cloudy orange/amber color body with a small, lively white head. Aroma is fresh peaches, vanilla, and pie crust, with some very light alcohol. Flavors are sweet and slightly sour peaches, some, carmel, vanilla, and a little yeast. Def’n the big surprise of the night. hopdog (4648), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA Mar 14, 2008 750ml bottle acquired in trade with hoppymeal (thanks!). Bottle # 155 / 820. Poured a lighter and cloudy golden / amber color with a smaller sized white head. Aromas of peaches, lactose, caramel, and just like a peach pie. Tastes of peaches, lactose, and vanilla. Had a nice sweetness to it. I usually don’t like peaches, but this beer rocked (I found myself wanting more and more with every sip)!
