A rih copper amber reddish with a textbook white head. this is what an IIPA should smell like. Big Amarillo hops. Smells like a grown up Gumballhead with some light and caramel malt sweetness giving it a backbone. Full creamy mouthfeel. A bit higher in the carbonation. Big hops with a strong malty background. Reminds me of Alpha King a bit. Though definitely imperial. A bit garlicy on the hop flavors. Tastes a little like older Hop slam. Not bad, but disappointing after that nose! yjb (110), Bloomington, Indiana, USA

I think this was opened at the hotel, as my handwriting is absolute crap at this point. Pours medium orangey amber with a nice tight head. Aroma is awesome fresh citrusy hops, grapefruit salad (wtf?) and tropical fruits like mango. Flavor is sharp citrus and pine hops upfrotn but is a bit weak in the middle- then more tacky tropical fruit hops in the end. I was drunk, but really diggin this IPA. Nice. masonjer (564), Holt, Michigan, USA

Taste was nice hoppy punch, citrus, slight lemon tartness, nice malt backbone, pine and tropical fruit. Nicely balanced and fresh. I thought they did a great job with this one. hopdog (5590), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Comments: A surprising IIPA that focuses more on bitterness than aromas. Growing bitterness by the sip which is something I would generally not mind, but the poorly hidden alcohol kinda clashes with it.
