This beer rocks. One of the best brown ale's I have ever had the pleasure of drinking.

Slightly dark brown appearance, with a small white head. Aromas were missing at first, but after it warmed up there were some nuts, hops, coffee. Too watery for my liking, just seemed like the brewer wasn't trying.

Deep ruby auburn color. Aroma is very nutty with TONS of caramel, almost like unfermented caramel malt with lots of coffee and chocolate notes to boot, very rich for a nut brown, almost like fresh made wort mixed in the end. Flavor is a little more bitter but the rich caramel and chocolate is very present. Finish was wet and slightly sweet and bitter. Overall this is a great nut brown with lots of good flavors associated with the style. The toffee/caramel notes in this one are exceptionally well pronounced. Thanks dmwhal!

Reddish brown hue with a short frothy off-white head and good lace. The aroma hints of cashews, caramelized malts, mild coco flakes, faint aromatic hops, and a off band-aid ester. The taste starts with a zesty and caramel presence. Undertones of nuts and mocha found within. The short finish displays a bready and bitter combo with a hint of coffee. The mouthfeel is good for a brown ale, lively and refreshing, dry and chalky in the finish. Just average but good enough for a drink or two, it is not nutty enough however. Thanks again Eric for the bottle.

Poured a clear chestnut color with a small off white head. Sweet fruity aroma with strong raisin notes. Lgith fruitiness and a nutty finish. Semi-dry. Light to medium bodied.

Medium brown color. Large sized beige foamy head. Aroma is caramel malts and nutty. A medium bodied nut brown ale. Malts are toffee and sweet, slightly nutty. More nuttiness in the aroma than the flavor. Nice balance. Mild flavors. Very drinkable. Smooth tasting. Very drinkable beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

This is a very good Brown Ale, my sister brought some back from a trip out west. Beer is always the best souvenir, it’s a liquid post card. Pours a light chestnut color with a thin beige head. Pleasant roasty nut aroma. Flavor of brown sugar, nuts and hops with a good dry finish. A good New Mexican beer.
