| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 17, 2005 For those who find most pales overly hopped, this brew might be just what you’re looking for. Agreeable, mild flavor; small, disappointing head and activity. Very mild, albeit rich, soft flavor. Notably little hops’ bitterness. Lack of complexity and definitive character relegate this brew to the grocery store class. Decent if you’re not looking to spend a lot and want something that’s sure not to offend anyone at your gathering. Lou18 (1353), West Paterson, New Jersey, USA

Nose was sour-malt with citrus, sweetness. This is a striaght ahaed american pale wich is good on worm days, today is chilly and rainy for 8 days ! This was a solid brew. csbosox (1084), Prairie Village, Kansas, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Aug 14, 2005 Had at August KC Bier Meisters meeting. Bottle. Orange/gold color with a light off-white hazy head. Aroma of caramelly malt with some light citrus hops. Pleasant aroma. The flavor is caramel malt, light hops, with a minerally finish. An average pale ale. beerguy101 (3971), Newark, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | May 29, 2005 Medium orange amber color. Small sized white foamy head. Aroma is big biscuty malts and brown sugar. A medium bodied American Pale Ale. Malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. Hops are piney and herbal. Lots of earthy flavors. Kind of not to style for a APA, it peaty and malty more like a scottish ale. Still a nice beer and the malts shine out. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. jtw (944), farmington, Michigan, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 23, 2005 bottle from tannertavernboys. weak aroma, some hops eventually peek out from the malt they were hiding behind. bland amber flavor, dominated by malt but reasonably balanced. for as close to the west coast as this is, i’m surprised at the lack of hops everywhere. easily drinkable but that’s about it. 11026 (1779), Alabama, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Feb 5, 2005 Bottle. Copperish amber color. Fast facing white head leaves decent lacing. Nicely balances the malt and hop. Medium bodied. A touch watery, could be a personal preference. Overall, a pretty solid APA. Thanks to Eric.

| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 23, 2004 pretty ful body, but after getting calibrated to more and more agressively hopped American ales (paless leaning into the IPA category) this pale pales. Still, well made enough with a balanced bitterness.
