Pours a lite amber with a nice lasting head. Earthy EKG aroma with some nice fruitiness from the English yeast. Med. bodied. Oxidized flavors with a buttload of buttery diacetyl which is pretty common in all their beers. Fairly lacking.

Not much in the way of hop aroma. Body has a good malty backbone, but no bitterness to balance. A very toned down APA. A good session brew, but not outstanding.

The beer after evacuating the 12 ounce brown bottle pours an unclouded amber color with a moderate in size head that is spumous in texture and a light tan color, as it quickly erodes the residual lace forms an adequate covering upon the glass. Nose has mild malt sweetness, fresh and crisp, not much else going on here, start is sweet with a fair to middling malt presence, the top skimpy in feel. Finish is benignly acidic, the hops adequate in their spiciness, dry aftertaste.

Dark orange color. Pale hazed floral aroma, some malts. The malts come back in the initial taste blended with some bitter hops. Some good citrus flavors do shine through. Bland chalky flavor reisdes through to the aftertaste. Just not a very appealing beer.

Poured orange with a medium frothy off white head. Light hop aroma after it warms a bit. Flavor is mildly hopped with some citrus notes. Finish is somewhat strange-lightly metallic with what seems to be a sweet green chile pepper flavor. Okay.

Clear amber out of the bottle with a quickly dissapating off-white head. Malty pine nose. Well balanced beer with apple, peach and raspberry fruit notes that trail into a citrus bitterness and finally an odd metalic lingering finish. Good beer. Thanks Eric.

Clear amber hue with fading frothy head and very good lace. The aroma hints of light caramel, buttery biscuit, toasted malt, floral hops, and dusty yeast esters. The taste is straight forward with a zesty bitterness and sweet malty balance. A hint of fruit and bready taste as well. The finish is hsort, lightly bitter and has a dry chalky feel. A run of the mill APA, but worth a starter. Thanks Eric.

EDIT: had a few sips at the birthday party i mentioned in my fishtale poseidon review, this tastes offensive after grape faygo.
