Nice white head fades out to a film. Some lacing. Very nice hoppy aroma with notes of malt. Flavor is quite good. Almost a pleasant lemon zest quality to it. Crisp. Pleasant hops throughout. Nice malt balance. Very well done. Thanks Eric!! Sickboy282 (1098), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 28, 2004 pours a golber yellow hue with aromas of honey, blueberries???? and pancakes/maple syrup. Flavors of caramel, slight hop bitterness and dough. This is suprisingly, one the better pilsners I have had in my time as an alcoholic, no i mean beer lover. Very nice, a perfect session ale. npdempse (931), St. Petersburg, Florida, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Nov 26, 2004 Cloudy yellow with a hint of green; small white head. Dry grassy nose, bitter noble hops. Light, slightly sweet malty flavor, balanced by moderate bitterness. Would make a pleasant session brew. IndianaRed (1555), Boise, Idaho, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 21, 2004 Bottle POurs a VERY pale yellow/amber. Looks more like a Chablis than a beer. Very small wite head that is gone in moments. Spotty lacing. Aroma is typical light grain pilsner, bready. Flavor is quite nice, light malt, very easy on the hops, and bread. Especially after a moment the sweet bread flavor comes through even more. A bit o’ honey here too. Good feel and body for the style. Slight woody, hops tang at the end. jzzbassman (846), New Albany, Mississippi, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 27, 2004 Thanks to Eric for recommending this one to me. Had the parents bring some last night when they were coming from Roswell. At $5/ a sixer, this would be a summer staple in my fridge if I lived there.
Sort of between a German and Czech, with not as snappy a hop bite as a Czech, but lots of body for the style. Fresh bread aroma and malty taste, it is what a pilsner should be. Murphy (1759), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jul 8, 2004 Decent head, but color is a little to bright. Malty taste that is uncommon in domestic pilsners. Slight taste of hops. Sweet up front, a little too sweet. Slightly bitter finish. Not bad. Slick (1962), Thief River Falls, Minnesota, USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 30, 2004 Very pale banana yellow out of the bottle with a fluffy white head that left nice lace. Faint citrus notes in the nose. Flavors of berry, toast with some yeast, but mostly crisp citrus taste with a lingering sweet lemon finish. Well balanced and tastey. I wish I had more than one. Thanks to TannerTavernBoys Eric for this one.
