Thanks Very much to WhaleMan for sending me this unexpected Western Pils!

Pours with a beautiful golden body and a creamy white head. The aroma has some lovely notes of citrus, mostly lemon; suggestions of cut grass, orange blossom honey…very fragrant and tantalizing! Geez!! The flavor and palate texture are absolutely superb! The flavor brings a nice biscuity maltyness, very buttery with notes of lemongrass in the finish! This Pils would match perfectly with a Japanese meal! – This is far and large the best example of a Pilsner I’ve ever had, Tremendous!

Pours a lite golden with a rater modest head for the style. Aroma of noble hops and the grassiness that can go along with them. Very floral and aromatic. This is really clean with a nice malty flavor and a great hop finish. Very impressive.

Poured a slightly hazy pale yellow with a thin white head. Nice hop aroma with a little fruit. Taste is quite nice as well. Lightly fruity with a crisp flavor. A nice beer. Thanks Eric.

Crystal clear straw hue with fizzy and fading white head, okay lace. The aroma hints of grassy and floral hops, lemongrass, lightly toasted malts, a touch of honey, and mild allspice tones. The taste starts malty with a grassy tone. Also detected some lemon, spice, bready and musty yeast. The finish has a lingering bitterness but not powerful. The mouthfeel is surprisingly overall smooth and mellow, is a bit sharp initally around the edges. A quaffable session pils, easily drinkable on a hot New Mexico afternoon. Thanks Eric for the bottle.

Hazy yellowish with a tight foamy large head, fading moderately fast, leaving a fully coating thin lacing. Massive carbonation inside the glass. Aroma lightly hoppy, with a kiss of lemon/grapefruit citrus but mostly new mown hay. Flavor lightly grassy, light lemony notes, sweet citrus, almost wheat malts, and a very light palate, surprisingly smooth and lacking in carbonic bite despite the visual display of fizzing. Finish lacking in hops, with only a light lingering bitterness. A tad watery, perhaps not due to low final gravity but to a lack of hops and carbonation on the palate.

Poured a bright golden color with a small head and nice lacing. Lemon, spicy hop, pilsener aroma. Flavor begins malt, some straw in the middle with a bitter hop finish. Rather full mouthfeel. This was super drinkable and gone before I knew it. Thanks whaleman (secret santa)...

Beautiful clear gold color, topped by a pale cream head. A wonderful spicy aroma to this beer, some saaz would be my guess. A wonderful spicy hop flavor, bitter in the finish, with a nice lightly sweet malt expression that carries through the whole way. Nice clean and crisp like a good pils should be. I am quite impressed with this beer.
