Aroma is malt, caramel and toffee, somewhat sweet. A medium bodied amber. Malts are fruity an sweet. Hops are earthy and slightly floral. Fairly tasty as amber ales go. Very drinkable. I did not see any strange lights in the sky or get visited by any large eyed gray green aliens while writing this review or drinking the beer. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly sweet. Darkover (1314), Columbus, Ohio, USA

| 1.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | May 17, 2005 Talk about a bad bottle. Maybe I got one or the aroma is just what well leave that to your imajination with out losing your lunch. Flavor is a malty spice from mars I would guess. Amber body and not much fora head. Maybe just left for the real aliens. BBB63 (4267), La Porte, Indiana, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | May 16, 2005 Bottle via Eric: Amber space hued with a fizzy big green head and okay supernatural lacing. The aroma has notes of caramel and moon dust, floral and spectre hops, apple and unindenified flying yeast esters. The taste starts malty sweet with a Majestic-12 top-secret minor yeast note. All the hops have been removed to Area-51 and will never be heard from again. The feel is a hoax and comes off chalky and rather inconsistent. This beer is nothing more that a skeptical attempt to take off on the legend that is Roswell. Only hard-core faithful and curiosity seekers alike should bother sampling this quite Alien brew. jtw (943), farmington, Michigan, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 20, 2005 bottle from tanner tavernboys. very plain malt aroma, no hops to speak of. medium body--it’s a plus that it’s not thin, but it’s a middle-of-the-road amber ale. | 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 9, 2005 This beer is a clear amber color with a thin beige head that rapidly dissipates. Very thin lacing. The aroma is earthy malt and sweet caramel. Medium-bodied and skewed toward a sweet malty flavor, but with a light hops presence now and then. That’s really about all the beer offers flavor-wise. The finish is fruity with a touch of hops. Pretty straightforward Amber, but I don’t see anyone beside Mulder going back to this one regularly. goldtwins (4084), Nesconset, New York, USA

Aroma of light fruit, sweet amlt, caramel, and some earthy hops. Flavors of caramel, light sweetess. Fairly clean light body. Not too bad. The color is beautiful a medium amber with a hint of red that’s very bright and well filtered. An off-white head that dissipated quickly. A mostly malt flavor with hints of biscuit and caramel with a medium-dry finish. Almost no hop flavor up front and just a tinge of hop in the aftertaste. A very well balanced amber. This is a gentle beer. But, according to BJCP style guidelines, ambers are light in aroma, low in bitterness and medium-light in body. This amber fits the description. It could be a bit more carbonated.
