Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

Sampled last year. A pretty good brew. A good amount of hops. Seems like a cross between the pale ale and the torpedo ale. A good amount of hops with sweet malts. Well worth a try.

Nice looking, orange, hazy, decent head. Oranges and pine in the nose. Creamy palate, 1st caramel hits, then it gradually dries out. Very good, not terribly complex, but very good.

A golden amber ale with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, intense c-hops, classy, with notes of marmelade, caramel and must. In mouth, a classy pinhey floral hops in mouth, with caramel malt, grapefruit, very classy. Medium bodied. Bought in Summer 2007. Tasted with Probstk, Jan 11 2009.

Had a musty, almost body odor aroma. This turned me off to it right away, and the extreme hoppyness didn’t aide in this either.

Bottle. Pours a light amber, copper color with a decent white head. Aroma is of hops and grassy pine notes. Pretty smooth on the palate. Not a bad IPA.

Bottle. 2008 version Aroma: Fresh apricot/lemon, fruity inviting. Clear light amber beer with a thick white head. Well balanced, citrus, hop, carbonation and sweetnes. Easy to drink. Slight bitterness in the finish, which is not long lasting. Recommended.
