Nov 20, 2008 Bottle. Aroma is really citrus dominated with lots of grapefruit and hoppy notes. Mouthfeel is smooth. Taste is a caramel,hops with some nice crisp bitternes! High drinkability.

Nov 20, 2008 This poured an attractive copper color with nice white head that lasted a while before dissipating. The aroma was a bit malty, but also of pine and citrus hops. The flavor had caramel undertones with the pine and citrus coming through from the hops. The mouthfeel was pleasant. This was a very drinkable beer that I would purchase again.

Nov 20, 2008 Updated: Mar 14, 2009Bottle. Pours a light amber color with a nice white head which settles down after a while. Nice lacing on the glass.
Aroma is very nice. You can feel this is hoppy; lots of tropical fruit, citrus, grapefruit, pine-needles and other good things.
Flavour is hoppy and bitter, but not on the extreme side. Notes of citrus and grapefruit here. Pine-needle? Slightly malty and sweet, pretty balanced actually. Good.
Mouthfeel is pretty nice and filling. Smooth, not that much carbonation. Quite filling. Liquid is not thick, but still not thin.
Drinkability is quite high. Nice, quite low ABV, so you can have this on a Tuesday evening (though I wouldn’t mind to drink a Double IPA instead).
A nice IPA.

Nov 19, 2008 Bottled: thanks Teeeeek! Pours a clear yellow color with a full head. Smells of light malts and light fruit. Tastes very light with small tastes of malts and a bit of hops. Its a pretty good beer and I love sierra nevada but I had a celebration before this one and it just doesn’t compare!

Nov 19, 2008 Bottle 2008. Pours a clear light amber with a little bit of sediment floating around. Aroma is sweet malt and hoppy pine/grapefruit. Flavor is a sweet malt to a nutty hop taste with a dry light bitter finish. Decent, but nothing compared to the Celebration Ale.

Nov 19, 2008 Bottle. Pours a clear golden color with a big fluffy white head. Aroma of hops, grapefruit and pine needles. Taste of cascade hops, citrus, light malt and spices. Has a dry semi-bitter hoppy finish.

Apperance: Very orangeish with a decent white head that lasts a good bit.
Aroma: Citric notes (Hello Cascade hops!), Orange, Pine, Fresh flowers.
Flavor: Mandarine, Apricot, Citric notes, Hint of Butterscotch.
Palate: Lots of sweet fruit at first and ends with a good, clean, bitterness. Medium carbonation.
Another good offering from Sierra Nevada. Not the best beer i’ve had from them but still very drinkable. Would make a good sessionbeer. Try it!
