Oct 30, 2008 Pours a glowing orange amber color with a white froth. Aroma is very hoppy and piney with some light strong sweet caramel malt notes that provides good balance. Flavor starts with a lot of pine and floral hops. Turns sweet and malty with a noticeable amount of sugary citrus fruit. Hop bitterness comes in the finish and creates a long lasting hop oil flavor that lingers for awhile. Medium body and lively carbonation. Very refreshing beer and nicely balanced on the hops and malts.

Oct 28, 2008 12 oz bottle. Almost no head, settled down and all but disappeared. Ring around the beer leaves no mess on the glass. Nose is malty and crisp, a little bitter with a hint of pineapple(!?!?) Medium amber color with the slightest haze. Sharp malty flavor with sugar burst following. Hoppiness jumps out, fades, and jumps out again. Not overly sweet. Bitter background.

Oct 27, 2008 Nice orangey pour with a huge head that never fully evaporates, leaving some decent lingering lacing. Decent blending of the hops up front with the malt in the back, but nothing to really write home about. Like most SN beers it’s solid but not anything fancy.

Oct 27, 2008 Floral hoppy aroma. Big sudsy head that left a lot of lace. Lots of hop flavor, in fact it had this really great complimentary hop thing happening, at the front it was citrusy and a much more light bitter whereas it was very strongly bitter and hoppy towards the end, very interesting and nice. The palate was particularly sharp, but the beer was fairly easy to drink. A pleasure!

Oct 25, 2008 2008 bottle. Orange color and pours with a thick off-white head. Decent head retention. The aroma is floral and fruity. The flavor consists of some citrus fruits, resinous hops, lemons, and light malt backing. In a taste comparison with their Harvest Ale, this was lighter, a bit more citrusy, with far less malt.

Oct 25, 2008 2008. Pours a typical copper IPA color with the sticky white head leaving lacing all over the place. Aroma is mostly citrus with a little caramel and pine. Taste is hoppy, but with some malty backbone. Not super malty, but enough to know it is there. Aftertaste is of yellow grapefruit, but not too strong or bitter. Good IPA.

Oct 25, 2008 Bouteille de 12 oz, édition 2008. Arômes de houblon rappelant les agrumes (zeste d’orange) présentant également une touche de sucre d’orge. Robe orangée, très légèrement trouble, peu de mousse et fine effervescence. Délicate en bouche, un malt légèrement sucré mène à une amertume bien présente, mais parfaitement intégrée à la bière. Une très bonne IPA, toute en délicatesse.

Oct 23, 2008 Appealing citric hop nose. Appetizing. Bready malts behind it. Amber color, thick creamy eggshell head. Lemony hop flavors. Light crackery malts. Fairly significant bitterness.
