It’s a medium bodied copper-orange beer that pours an average but persistent head that laces well. A balanced mix of floral and bittering hops give it a strong dry punch up front and then slowly dissipate to reveal a very rich malty taste that is also a little on the roasty side and takes its time to finish. This is one of the most well balanced IPAs I have ever had. presario (2960), Calgary, Alberta, Canada

Delicious hop aroma with a caramel malt backing. Woody hop flavour. Nice malt balance. A bit bitter and mouth drying but tasty. Sparky27 (1596), Phoenix, Arizona, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 6, 2008 Bottle. Pours a light amber with a quickly receding one finger beige head. The persistent layer that’s left does leave decent lacing. Nose is light malt and floral hops. Taste is sweet citrus, apricot and toffee with a pink grapefruit finish. Medium, sticky mouth feel. This is a well-balanced IPA. Very good. blipp (1669), Newark, New Jersey, USA

Sweet aroma, fruity citrus and bitter hops. The flavor is well balanced. Sweet citrus, floral, light spicy and light pine. Very nice. flatmatt (224), Northville, Michigan, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 6, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours slightly hazy orange amber with a medium white head. Aroma is pretty typical IPA: citrusy hops, a bit of sweetness. Flavor is hop-forward with citrus, grassy, and piney hops. A little biscuity pale malt backs it up. Another good IPA from Sierra Nevada, though not quite up to the standard set by Celebration. thefle (113), , New Jersey, USA

It was a bit stronger and had a bit more bite. In the end I was happy to have had it unclemike (834), Ft. Riley, Kansas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 5, 2008 Pours slight cloudy copper with medium head that does not last. Aroma very full and pleasant although I cannot pinpoint. Palate very soft and smooth, makes for easy drinking. Taste is typical of sierra Nevada, very unique and flavorful. Balanced at start with a very hoppy finish that lingers. Love the hops in this one

One word that comes to mind (because I read it in the last review) is piney. Another word is delicious hop fiesta in my mouth. Very good IPA, which I will drink.
