One word that comes to mind (because I read it in the last review) is piney. Another word is delicious hop fiesta in my mouth. Very good IPA, which I will drink. tgncc (818), Bellmore, New York, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 2, 2008 Nice aroma of earthy and piney hops. The appearance is an attractive amber color, lots of white foam, typical for this style. The flavor is very hoppy, a split between pine and citrus, with malty sweetness, mainly caramel. Very nice balance between them. The palate has a refreshing burn of citrusy hops. Very nice beer overall. mpreston (10), Garland, Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 30, 2008 12oz. bottle on 9/29/08. Overall impression: Wow! Then the palate seemed to change to a carnonated grapefruit beverage. A bit grassy finish. However, the use of cascade hops is signiture with this brewery. I love my hops, but this was slightly too much. MI2CA (1266), Noblesville, Indiana, USA

Pours cloudy orange-brown with a small head Flavor is very well balanced with the hops up front followed by the smooth creamy caramel malt. Palate is tart then creamy and smooth. Very Nice. | 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 3/5 | 17/20 | Sep 29, 2008 Excellent IPA. Very nice balance to it with the sweet malts and the hoppy hops. The bitterness is all citrus to me, well maybe 3/4-1/4 split citrus-pine, which is nice. It really tastes like SNPA if they partially froze it and took 20% of the water out. It’s pretty much just SNPA in SNiPA form, so if you like SNPA, you’ll love this. It fits nicely between Celebration and SNPA. chrissy (122), Connecticut, USA
