Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

2008 Bottle. Pours a light amber, copper color with a decent white head. Aroma is of hops and grassy pine notes. Pretty smooth on the palate. Weaker for an IPA but a nice drinkable beer.

Bottle. Light copper in color with a thin white head. Nice hop aroma. Medium palate. It has a nice hop start, a fruity middle and a mildly bitter finish.

Pours deep amber into a shaker. Off-white head recedes to coat surface. Mild resin aromas. Crisp and well balanced with upfront caramel malts and a lasting pine and grapefruit finish.

Poured a great-looking caramel orange color with a small white fluffy head. Taste is very good for an IPA, not overly bitter by any means. Just a slight hop taste in the finish. I’m pleasantly surprised by this beer.

Poured from 12oz bottle amber in color with an off-white head. Aroma is piney hops and sweet caramel malt and a sweet orange. Flavor hasa a bit of caramel sweetness then the hops kick in and a nice grapefruit flavor comes through.

Bottle. Pours somewhere between copper and gold... more on the gold side. Good foamy head that leaves significant lacing covering the brew and clinging all up the sides of the glass. Smell is of resiny pine hops with a slice of lemon. Taste is sharp cascade hops with a nice dry malt to back it up and balance it. This is hopped between a strong APA and a usual IPA. Mouthfeel is average.
