Aug 29, 2008 20080829 12oz bottle, Sunset Spirits. Medium amber color, lots of floating bits, sticky lacing white head. As advertised, it’s full of cascades in aroma, flavor, and on the palate. Medium bodied, great finishing astringency and bitterness is not over the top. The strength is right on the money for a quaffable IPA that provides a bit of a kick in the pants. At fifteen bucks a twelve pack, I think I’ll grab a few cases to keep me hopped up until Celebration comes out.

Aug 27, 2008 Bottle. Pours light amber/copper color with a large, clingy, tan head. Aroma and Taste are of hops, pine and citrus. Finish is dry and bitter. Overall, this is a pretty great beer, that is easy to drink and enjoy. I look forward to buying this again.

Aug 25, 2008 12 oz. 2008. really nice beer. Good hops representation in the aroma and taste. Good smooth beer that jumps out at your tastebuds without assaulting them. Hops, dry flowers, sour citrus, and raw greens make this a very simple straight forward and enjoyable beer. Average mouthfeel. Nice job and good choice for summer.

Aug 24, 2008 2008 Version. 12 oz. brown stubby bottle. Aromas are of roasted malts, earthy hops, some yeasty bread.
Medium mouthfeel, decent body. More of an amber ale than an IPA.
Decent beer overall.

Aug 23, 2008 Poured a very hazy orangy-copper with a large, fluffy, off-white head. The hop smell are apparent even a good distance from the glass, and it’s piney and citrusy. The hop flavor is strong and robust and delicious. It’s not over the top, but it’s huge. The aftertaste is piney and fruity. It’s a very drinkable and yummy IPA.

Aug 22, 2008 Bottle from Hy-Vee Wine and Spirits. Pours deep copper with decent cream colored head. Citrus fruits and grass on the nose. Highly carbonated and not too heavy on the palate. One of my favorites from Sierra Nevada.

Pours a nice orange amber with off-white head, lacing. Aroma has some pine, not over powering. Flavor is a nice, lightly sweet with high bitter, grapefruit and pine, some caramel. Mouthfeel is light-medium body with high carbonation....Over all, This is a great beer from Sierra Nevada.
