Commercial Description:
The 2007 Anniversary Ale features prominent usage of Cascade hops– the signature hop used in Sierra Nevada’s most popular product, Pale Ale. It is an American Style IPA with a big, fragrant pine and citrus hop aroma balanced by the sweetness of two-row pale and caramel malt. It finishes with an additional Cascade dry-hopping creating a big hop aroma Sierra Nevada fans will look forward to.

12 oz. bottle. Light amber gold with white head. Piney citrus hoppy aroma. Smells great. Hops taste more floral than smell. Nicely hopped with crisp bite. This is an excellent session beer, not too overwhelming on the sense like some ipas.

Pours a hazy orange/amber color with a huge long-lasting off-white head. Subtle aroma of citrus and pine. Sweet buttery mapley taste of toasted malt as well as fairly assertive hop bitterness. Smooth, well balanced. A very good product.

A hazy orange-amber color with thin white head. Sweet, fruity aroma. Complex with hops, grass, and malt. Wonderful to smell. Has a sweet, grassy taste. Sweet up front with a bitter finish. A medium body. Good brew.

Slightly hazy and inert orange brown pour. Thin white head. Grainy malt aroma with some bitter hops. Bitter malt and yeast flavor with a bitter hop finish. Not bad though a little weak for me.

Hazy and orangeish in it’s amber, tight bubbled head and plenty of it but not foamy. Big citrus aroma. Sweet citrus flavor throughout. Lacking the hard bite at the end I was expecting. Goes down smooth

Big and citrusy, this special IPA pours an orangy amber with a fluffy white head. Redolent with the expected cascade grapefruit aroma, the nose is very bright, also showing significant piny resins. the body is light, and starts slightly sweet and fruity, but the hops take hold quickly and build to a long bitter finish. Lightly sweet caramel malt shows, but is largely overpowered by the ample biting hop character.
