| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 21, 2009 12 oz bottle purchased as part of a mix a six at Lukas in Kansas City, Missouri. 2009 Version. Pour is slight haze golden orange with a big 3 inch off white head. Head is lasting, as it slowly falls, it leaves behind nice lacing. Aroma of soft citrus and pine hops, nice earthy mineral aspect to the back. Some grainy malt present, though certainly behind the hop. Nice, clean, though subdued nose. Taste has the resin citrus and earthy mineral of the nose, with a faint backbone of the grain. Nice showcase for the hops, nice fresh bright and cleanly bitter taste. Palate is medium to thin with active carbonation. Easy drinking and refreshing beer. Nice. TampaBeer (191), Tampa, Florida, USA

A nice bitterness on the lick - with a creamy hoppiness, allowing the malt to still come through. A lingering bitterness that nearly had me eating the cone... mingo1968 (30), phila, Pennsylvania, USA
