Nov 18, 2007 Have had it both draft and bottled, draft=3.2, bottled= 3.6. A hazy amber beer with a huge lazing beige head. The aroma is sweet with strong notes of hops giving it notes of grass and grapefruit on a malty back ground. The flavor is sweet and again very hoppy wigh notes of grass, straw, grapefruit, and oranges, as well as light notes of spices and alcohol, leading to a dry and very bitter finish.

Sep 28, 2007 Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival. Clear amber, minimal head. Salty grapefruit aroma. Crisp and very dry, freshly hoppy with clean mouthfeel and slim body. Salty and hoppy with long bitter finish. Typical Sierr Nevada-style with it’s very clean flavour profile.

Nov 19, 2007 (Bottle 35,5 cl) Courtesy of fiulijn. Clear, amber golden with a creamy, off-white head leaving some lacework. Fresh, citrusy nose. Medium body, lightly sweet malts and again lovely citrus and peach notes before the dry-as-a-bone finish with some bitterness. An IPA right up my alley. 171107
Oakes (6853), Miami Beach, Florida, USA
Sep 24, 2007 Bright golden-amber. Cascade aroma - wood - with earthy, slightly brownsugary malt. Straightforward woody hop notes, hints of breadcrust and caramel. Moderate bitterness. Competent, but, um, this is an anniversary beer. Where is vodka, where’s marinated herring? To me word celebration just doesn’t come to mind.

Apr 17, 2008 12 fl oz bottle. Pours clear and golden orange. Semi lasting white head. Aroma is pine wood dry hops. Semi sweet flavour and dry pine wood hops flavour. Light sweet note intermixing this. Ends once again into a rather dry finish. Crisp and clean.
