Bottle poured an amber/orange color with nice off white head. Aroma was floral hops with a mild caramel. Flavor was bitter with the classic SN body and taste. Like a hopped up pale.

Dec 19, 2009 Nice and crisp, but boring. Definitely didn’t notice anything special here that wasn’t already a part of their pale ales. Very drinkable though.

Dec 18, 2009 Bottle (in NZ). Came with a nice big ice cream head. A little hokey pokey in the nose. A nice bitterness on the lick - with a creamy hoppiness, allowing the malt to still come through. A lingering bitterness that nearly had me eating the cone...

Dec 18, 2009 Poured from a 12oz bottle it’s has a strong but nice floral and citrus aroma with a touch of pine. It’s appearance is a hazy tea color with a minimal white head, The taste is a little bitter with a lively citrus taste. with a long finish that stays on your mouth. Over all i thoughtit was a nice refreashing beer and would recommend it for a try.

Dec 15, 2009 Pours a slightly hazy amber, with a thick, loose head that fades quickly. Fruity hop aroma, with no real malt. Very bitter hop flavors, without a good body to match.

Dec 14, 2009 Bottle from Utobeer market stall. Pours orange with a white head which soon disappears. Nose of citrus, sulphur, vanilla,pears. Tastes of grapefruit, herbs, summer fruits, ginger. Sweet, hoppy mouthfeel. Finishes laden with hops. Tasty.

Dec 13, 2009 Bottle: Poured a hazy amber color ale with a large foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of piney and citrus hops are easily discernible. Taste is also dominated by some fresh citrus and piney hops with typical Cascade flavor with a solid malt backbone. Body is quite with limited filtration and good carbonation. Well done though sometime too much of one-thing is not that fun.

Dec 13, 2009 12oz bottle. 2009. Pours a hazy, orange-amber colored body with a finger-width, thick and creamy, off-white head that dissipates slowly and leaves lots of lacing. Aroma is sweet grapefruit pines, freshly baked bread, moderately sweet caramels, some brown sugar, and a light crystal. Flavor has lots of grapefruit and lemony pines, but lots of crystals and caramels to balance. Some more fresh bread and earth as well. Finishes with more of a flowery bitterness and a deeper caramel that lingers for a long duration with lots of flowers and pines. Medium to full body and smooth with a soft carbonation. Overall, a very solid IPA. Fairly heavy, but brighter bitterness with plenty of malts to balance. Lots of fresh citrus and very clean. Great IPA.
