blutt59 (682), Dallas, Texas, USA Jul 11, 2008 bottle, orange color with nice foam head, faint sweet malt nose, hoppy citrus flavors with thin, bitter finish
bierkoning (4738), La Tropica, Netherlands Sep 6, 2008 Bottle. Orange light brown color. Grapefruit, toffee and marshmallow in the aroma. Nutty bitter, citric, perfumed flavor with hints of raspberry. Too perfumed to be really enjoyable, lacking in balance, but still an OK beer. Beerman6686 (724), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Sep 5, 2008 Poured a dark amber color with an off white head. Aroma was of some citrus hops, and metal. Flavor was a bit off, some citrus hops and a bit metallic and watery. Gypsy19 (198), AMERICA RISING, USA Sep 3, 2008 A quality IPA in unoffensive, moderate fashion exactly as one would expect from Sierra. Pleasant on the palate and throat, but nothing unique. Their regular IPA is a little better in my opinion; This one’s a little less hoppy, lively. Still good for a go though by just about anyone, regardless of beer prejudice. SuperDave70 (766), Arizona, USA Sep 3, 2008 ’08 edition. Pours a deep amber with a big foamy head that lasts and leaves streaky lacing. Aroma of floral and citrus hops and roasty caramel malt. Smooth and lightly sweet flavor, with a nice hoppy finish. Seriously good session IPA. GonzoIllini (1), Urbana, Illinois, USA does not count Sep 2, 2008 A good relatively easy to find IPA, one of the better Sierra Nevada beers out their, hoppy but not overpowering, a great session beer.
