Goes down smooth with a weak bitter finish. A bit disappointing. Was expecting something more potent. JoeMcPhee (5010), Jackson Heights, New York, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 2, 2006 Crystal clear golden beer, white head. The aroma is quite sulfurous with a woody hop nose as well. Not a great deal of hoppy spiciness at all. Flavour is okay, earthy/dusty malts giving the brew an almost Belgian character. Crisp minerally finish over a bit of earthy flavour. This could have been so much more. aspidites (1274), manteca, California, USA

Very lite bitterness that is somewhat earthy. Caramel and biscuit notes with a touch of Diacetyl. ChillCoat (1029), Concord, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Draft. Pale copper color with a slight off-white head. Faint malt aroma. Grainy malt flavor with a rough bitterness. Admittedly not my favorite style but seems like a fairly good example. Very cereal dominate malt flavor. Bitter finish.

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 27, 2006 Sampled on hand pull at the Map Room in Chicago. Pours a light golden color with moderate head which settles in a few minutes. Slight hop aroma with caramel malt. Hop bitterness is assertive, but not overpowering for this light bodied beer. It’s a bit thin, but a great session beer.
