Overwhelmed with crystal malts. Aroma is wan and what is there is sort of syrupy with a cola edge to it. Certainly less hop presence than I was expecting. Pretty innocuous.

Draft at brewery: Clear and medium yellow. Bready malts. A little bit of sourness and an unfittingly light bitterness. Overall, kind of one-dimensional and unexciting. No major complaints, but I thought it lacked charisma.

Sampled draught at Lucky Baldwin, Pasadena.
Pale amber, clear, no head. Restrained orange arioma. Dry with clean crystal malt profile. Light flavoured with short salty finish. Easy and straight forward session beer with simplistic malt character.

Very light palated beer, somewhat fluffy. Light hop flavor, a decent beer to sit around and drink with friends.

Tap @ Blind Tiger. Didn’t taste bitter at all. I doubt a cask would have helped the taste along but these’s really nothing to say except for this was a very mild adaptation of the style. Drinkable and light.

on tap @ hopyard:Light bitter yet very BMC-like aroma. Nice, strong bitterness but not much complexity. Slightly dry finish.

This is my first bitter ale. Amber pour with a nice white head that sticks to the glass a little. Gets more and more bitter the more you drink it. Some hops in the flavor as well. On tap at Pete's Brass Rail in Danville, CA.
