330ml bottle from BeersofEurope. A dark beer, which resembles a dark lager such as a Vienna. The East Kent Goldings hops manage to resemble American hops. Strange. Drinkable stuff - hoppier than other brown ales I’ve tasted. But then, Brown Ale is an odd style anyway.

Nut brown. Nice head. Aroma is toasty and warm. Flavor has some nice hop bitterness, with all the nutty and delicious flavors I expect from a brown ale. Another great beer from SN.

Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown color with a Big longlasting off-white head. Sweet malty aroma with hints of caramel and some hoppy hints. Sweet malty fruity flavor hints of caramel and hops. Fruity malty and hoppy finish.

Poured a dark brown with a head that was medium fluffy wtth small bubbles that left moderate lacing. Nose was strongly of roasted malts. Mouthfeel a little grittly and slightly metallic. Flavor mostly malts, caramel and some nuts. Finish short. Overall a decent but not noteworthy brown ale.

Aroma is nutty toffee malt, grassy and a touch of citrus hops at times, fruity in a winey way. Taste hits the fruity malts, particularly winey which makes me think it is nearly out of date, if not out of date. Bitterness kicks in in the finisf, but uninspiring by quite a way.

(Bottle, Haket, Göteborg) Clear red brown color, huge tan head. Smooth sweet malty scent, a bit acidic. Skome and acid taste, some alcohol. Rather thin mouthfeel. Low bitterness.

Pours a dark brown with a very light white head. Aroma is pretty light. Some very light caramel and malts but thats really it. Taste is kind of bitter, with a little silky caramel, and even a little coffe in there too. Nothing very complex and kind of watery. Just a very broing brown ale.
