| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Oct 30, 2006 Draft at Flying Saucer. Pours dark brown with a creamy off white head and nice lacing. Faint aroma of toasted malt and caramel. Flavor is semi-dry with notes of raisen, nuts, molasses with some noticeable British hop bitterness. Pretty hoppy for a brown. However, I think this needed a little more sweetness to balance it out. Decent, but not memorable. MaxxDaddy (263), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Poured brown from the bottle with quite a bit of frothy head. Nothing special in the aroma, which was disappointing. Medium-bodied and again, nothing too special about the taste. Maybe I missed something... NachlamSie (1640), Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 27, 2006 Bottle. Pours a translucent brown with a pretty decent tan head. The aroma is a bit thin with a strange astringency. Some baking chocolate and nuttiness is present as well. The body is just medium for the style and packs a bit of thin chocolate, sugar, toast, nut shells. Nothing too exciting, nothing too offensive. MrBunn (1535), Western, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 26, 2006 Translucent brown body with a frothy 3/4 inch head. Aromas are weak, with dark malty scents. Flavor is earthy with slightly burnt toast and a touch of espresso in the background. Pleasant, not spectacular. TheBeerOrg (1577), Kentucky, USA

Aroma of bready toasted malt and chocolate. Taste is light bready, toasted malt, aromatic and brown malt. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with lively carbonation. A nice brown ale. crizay (1050), Brook Park (was Tampa,FL), Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 23, 2006 Another thanks to Degarth. Pours brown, big white head. Nice smoked roasted malt flavor, some sweetness but not much, just a touch of crystal malt, hops are really not there at all which is a good thing. Nothing crazy happening with this beer but not bad in anyway, just a good tasting beer. antisnobJP (275), St. Michael, Minnesota, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Oct 22, 2006 Bottle. Clear light brown with a generous head. Aromas of nutty caramel, earth, and a piney-citrus bite. Flavors duplicate. Clean malt, clean finish. Good American Brown with a hoopy bite like the original Pete’s before that one got dumbed down a bit. roder60 (1023), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 21, 2006 Pours a clear brown with bubbled sides and a froathy good amount of tanish head. Looks kinda like a coke. Aroma is light sweet caramel malts. Flavor is more hoppy than most browns, kinda piney, and slighty sweet. Overall, decent but not fabulous.
