Pour starts light golden and deepens to a lightly dark amber, some head retention, slight haze. Mostly hop aromas on the nose with a light malty sweetness and a slight fruitiness. Hoppy and bitter on the tongue that lingers especially the tip. Medium body and carbonation.

2009 bottle. Pours dark amber/copper/red with a nice pillowy & rocky off-white head. Leaves a good amount of sticky lacing. Aroma is floral hops. Flavor is very hoppy, more pine/floral/grassy than citrus. Some caramel malts. Bitter finish. Mouthfeel is medium-full with moderate carbonation. Very drinkable and enjoyable!

Pours hazy with a light pillowy foam. The flavor is lightly bitter. Flavor is heavy on the palate but subsides quickly.

Orangey amber with a smallish off white head. Prominent inviting aromatic hop nose, plus some maltiness. Nice lacing. Mouthfeel smooth. Flavor very nicely transits from distinct floral hoppiness to pleasant mellow bitterness in finish

This is a holiday classic. Seems a little diluted now, but back in the day, retailers would load up and hoard this stuff for months, now it’s everywhere, but still solid. This is the bigger tougher brother of the pale ale, but still has that hoppy, citrusy taste that the pale ale offers. Very drinkable and balanced, a must have october to february.

Big pillowy ivory head that leaves a nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of fresh baked bread studded with pine nuts. Bracingly bitter flavours of orange and lemon peel backed by enough malt for balance. Very satisfying brew that warms you on damp, raw nights.

Bottle from citywide. pours a orange red with a big crater offwhite head. leaves some tight lace. Aroma of caramel, grapefruit, citrusy hops, herbs, and a hint of booze. flavor is a nice citrusy burst of pine and grapefruit with some nice caramel and doughy malt backing. Quite well balanced. Great beer! Hit the spot!
