| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | May 23, 2009 Spicy, light thin, no body. Hoppiness lasts, tho, in the back of the throat. Every Sierra Nevada Product tastes the same to me. This one has a little nutmeg added to the original recipe, I guess. WVHouseofBeer (388), Morgantown, West Virginia, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | May 22, 2009 Nice aroma of pine, hops, and citrus. Pours orange-red, with a pretty good size head. Flavor consists of big time hops and malt, and some citrus. Definitely one of the better winter seasonals that I have had. PJClarke (708), London, Greater London, England
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 2/5 | 15/20 | May 16, 2009 A 2008 bottle:
Spicy malt aromas. Ground ginger, pine, saunas and granola.
Spicy and lightly sour in the mouth. Roasty, toasty. Tangy little hops lend pine needles and resin.
The Yuletide edge here is meek but welcome. It gives the ale a little something interesting to carry it through. Slightly too light for a Christmas ale but it is a very tasty one. sigma23 (235), , Maine, USA

Who the hell drinks Christmas beers in summer ? I do.For some stange and awesome reason this was available @ several stores in the warmth . It got me playing festive tunes in July. Ive got a bottle right here. The bottle label is fuckiing classic. I wan’t to spend this Christmas in that cabin, drinking this beer. All that is good about American beer-right here.Nothing that festive about the beer in reality. Its a beautifuly aromatic IPA. Smells of grapefruit.Must.Pines. Tree bark and grass. Uncompromisingly dry,bitte/ Firm maltiness with late toffee sweetness. Oh God . tokyogoat (543), San Diego, California, USA
