emerica56 (432), Bristol, Rhode Island, USA Apr 4, 2008 Pours a clear amber color and a minor orange tint with a nice frothy white head. Around the rim of the glass some traces of spotted laceing are left. The nose is spicy and peppery followed by those bitter aromatic hops. The initial flavor is full of pepper and hops right on the tip of your tounge. the beer itself is full bodied and has a lot of pale malt and some spice like clove and orange peel. I like how the finish is not watery, the beer is spicy right up untill the last drop is drank.
drunkbeer (15), London, Greater London, England Jul 4, 2008 Updated: Jul 5, 2008Beautiful glass of Hops. The bottle iz a ’Santa’s Grotto’ resemblent(is that even a word ? LOL). It is cool and yet werid to drink this X-Mas favourite in height of mid Summer :Bizarly this X-mas nectar is still easily available @ a local Tesco store for some nonsensical reason. Geezz this kinda beer makes me happy. Beerman6686 (510), Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA Jul 2, 2008 Poured a nice amber color with a white head. Aroma was abundant of floral hops. Flavor was very bitter and unbalanced floral and citrus hops azlondon (457), Greater London, England Jul 1, 2008 Appearance: Amber, slightly hazy. Nice amount of head, longlasting.

Well bittered, dry finish.
Good, but short of being outstanding.
