Small ivory head, a bit of lacing. Much lighter than I expected, with subtle spicing. An excellent IPA example that ages very well.

| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 21, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours an amber color with a large white long lasting head. It has a grapefruit hop aroma along with a bit of a caramel aroma. It has a very nice grapefruit and pine taste along with a resin and grass flavor. I really like this beer and am glad I bought a whole 12 pack of it. I will probably but this one again. ttutony (92), Texas, USA

| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Bottle, World Market - Very NICE floral, hoppy aroma. Light head, orange to light amber color. Taste was nice and hoppy with other spices. The label does not indicate that this is an IPA so I wasn’t expecting such a strong hopped up beer. Nice bittery snap but long hoppy after taste I don’t perfer. Overall a pretty good beer. Back to the label, I bought this beer for my wife who rarely drinks beer and for sure isn’t a hop head. Wish I knew ahead of time; but leaves more for me. Merry Christmas! craftycarl21 (562), South Hero, Vermont, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 20, 2009 Pours a really pretty teak or light mahogany with orange tints; pretty frothy white head. Aroma holds pine, resin, orange, grapefruit, and other citrus sweetness; not aggressive, but good presence on the nose. Flavor has much more power, with great notes of spruce, grapefruit, and some floral kick closer to the finish. Palate isn’t especially full, but has a nice bitter finish, and is quite drinkable. Delightfully tasty and well crafted IPA overall. HeadieNugget (24), Pennsylvania, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Dec 18, 2009 Pours a clear coppery orange with a dense off white head that laces well. Aroma is very citrusy, spicy with hints of pine and soap. Flavor is more citrus and pine, a slight toasted maltiness, some burnt rubber, and a solid lasting bitterness. Medium bodied, resinous, full carbonation. JoeTheYounger (288), California, USA
