| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 9, 2009 Bottle: this is pretty good aout of the bottle and improves a bit in the glass, but not by much. Pours an unburnished copper. Typical dense head that leaves little lacing. Nose is of watery, sweetened grapefruit. Malt and hop tones are weak in nose. Body is medium and has a fair flow of carbonation when in the glass (thanks John). Mouthfeel gets going right away with the well rounded malts in a dervish with a slight yeast tang (not the unfiltered I am used to) and rounds out with a solid hop finsih. Goes down easy and nice with pizza. Arayaga2 (1001), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 8, 2009 Slightly opaque amber with almost no head. Aroma is faint and sweet with a bit of caramel. Taste is very malty, but clean with just a little caramel sweetness, and balancing bitterness in the finish. $2/12oz ljstephenson (114), Lawton, Oklahoma, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Mar 7, 2009 12 oz. bottle. Pours a deep copper color with very little head. Leaves behind a very little bit of lacing. Earth and spice are the two big notes on the nose. Some pine and floral notes as well. Brisk carbonation with a malty mouthfeel. Nice hop bitterness with spicy notes. Malt sweetness helps balance things out. A lingering bitterness remains in the aftertaste. Slightly different from the everyday and well constructed. A very solid beer. mmmbeer (766), Austin, Texas, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Mar 6, 2009 12 oz. bottle served in pint glass- poured somewhat transparent golden brown color, medium carbonation, very nice one finger white frothy head formed and tried to steal my dog. Aroma of malt, pine, and citrus. Hits the mouth with a low-medium body, pine taste comes in from the start (hops used, I know), malt is there and holds up until just past the middle, finish is bitter and asks you why just have another sip. Good sessioner. tdcritch (112), Missouri, USA
