Commercial Description:
Our ESB blends the best of English tradition with the boldness of West Coast style. A blend of malts featuring British-grown Maris Otter is balanced with the earthy spiciness of hand-selected English and US hops. The ale is left unfiltered which enhances mouthfeel and hop aroma creating a slightly reddish copper hue.

Another nice one from Sierra Nevada: Pours a clear bright copper colour with a beige head. Aroma is funny- semi sweet-semi floral- not sure what it is, but its unique. Taste however is nothing special, but still enjoyable, Soft citrus fruit, with wheat flavor.

Pours to a red copper. Spicy hops aroma. A bitter hops initial flavor with a sweet finish. Very balanced. The sweet is not too overbearing.

Draft: Poured an orange color with not much head. The aroma was of pine citrus and hops. The flavor was a little bit extra, a little bit special and a little bit bitter. Overall, a decent beer that reminds me more of a double IPA and ESB, but good.

From the bottle pours soft golden amber with a small white head. Toasty cereal notes up front, soft chocolate and some citrus and tropical fruit to the hops. Finish is earthy but crisp, with a dry bready flavor that sits back under the hops.

Pours burnt orange, hazy, with an off-white head. Aroma-nice but subtle white chocolate, bread, caramel, old citrus. Tastes of tart citrus, wood, pine, light caramel and white bread. Finishes toasty, with citrus and a charred wood aftertaste. Drinkable and decent, but Sierra Nevada can brew this type of beer in their sleep.

Foggy amber colored with a medium sized but rather fast dissipating head and light lacing. Fresh wheat/bread nose with notes of fruit and floral. Bold bitter/sweet taste with grape and citrus notes. Potent hop finish. Tasty and interesting.
