Commercial Description:
Our ESB blends the best of English tradition with the boldness of West Coast style. A blend of malts featuring British-grown Maris Otter is balanced with the earthy spiciness of hand-selected English and US hops. The ale is left unfiltered which enhances mouthfeel and hop aroma creating a slightly reddish copper hue.

Bottle. High and lasting creamy off-white head. Hzay peach coloured body. Relatively sweet peach honey oranges aroma. Pretty carbonated and bitter flavor diisguising the fruityness indicated by the aroma. Long bitter aftertaste.

Pours an opaque copper color with a thin, off white head. There isn’t much of a nose to speak of, but the flavor comes through, offering flavors of herbs and pine, with a nice hoppy bitter finish.

(Bottle) Pours dark amber with an off-white head. The aroma is medium malty with tones of cookies, light bread and grain. Mild floral hops bring tones of grass and maybe a touch of oranges. The flavour is of bread, some light cookie tones, grain and hoppy notes of grass, flowers and citrus/oranges. The mouthfeel is crisp, clean and dry very CN like. Light sweet and medium bitter. Medium bodied.

Bottle. Light to moderate malt aroma of roasted, light herbs and leather for the hops and yeast, with notes of date and bourbon. Head is large, frothy, slightly off white, has good lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy orange tan. Flavor is lightly acidic to start and the long finish is lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, dry and has a lively carbonation. It finishes lightly astringent. The dryness in the finish without a lot of astringency was impressive.

355 ml bottle - Amber colored beer with a fine medium large head. Aroma is very distinct Sierra Nevada with hints of unripened sweet citrus fruits. Flavor is very typical americanized ESBs’ with a nice maltiness to it. Again a an extremely enjoyable beer from Sierra Nevada. Very much american with lots of hops balanced nicely with the malt. Nothing extreme, just real good.
