Commercial Description:
Our ESB blends the best of English tradition with the boldness of West Coast style. A blend of malts featuring British-grown Maris Otter is balanced with the earthy spiciness of hand-selected English and US hops. The ale is left unfiltered which enhances mouthfeel and hop aroma creating a slightly reddish copper hue.

A fantastic ESB, hazy orange color, very generous off-white head, great balance in the aroma with lots of hops and sweet maltiness, also notes of orange peel & yeast in the nose, very well-rounded & delicous flavors with lots of spiciness, flavors of bread, orange, coriander & of course abrasive hops, spicy, dry & rich finish & aftertaste, extremely delicious brew

Well, they got the bitterness down but it’s not extra special!! This isn’t terrible but not my favorite.

12 fl. oz. bottle. 2008 edition. A slightly hazy, copper-red pour with an off-white carbonated head. It certainly didn’t last long. Pleasing malted aroma. The taste is definitely bitter but it is not as smooth as I had hoped. Noticeable hops but still subtle. Not the kind of bitter I love but still, it isn’t bad.

Bottle. Amber beer with a strong smooth head. The aroma is strongly toffee, and the flavour is strongly hopped and bitter. Overall a very nice beer.
