Crisp bite up front, followed by bitter finish. Alcohol is evident -- nicely balanced overall. Decent, but not as good as their PA in my opinion. thehurt01 (205), Denver, Colorado, USA

| 3.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 7, 2008 Pours a copper color with a moderate sized head. Aroma is some malts and spices but overall pretty clean. The flavor starts off with a touch of malt in the beginning then some bitter hops with all of it balanced quite well. Could perhaps use a little extra kick. Slightly dry with a hint of toffee or caramel sneaking through as the beer warms a little. I do see a lot of similarities to their Pale Ale. This would be a nice choice for a "regular" type of brew and I’m sure I’ll get it again. DougShoemaker (2856), Toronto, Canada
