Commercial Description:
Our ESB blends the best of English tradition with the boldness of West Coast style. A blend of malts featuring British-grown Maris Otter is balanced with the earthy spiciness of hand-selected English and US hops. The ale is left unfiltered which enhances mouthfeel and hop aroma creating a slightly reddish copper hue.

2008..Has a very agreeable bitterness level .... Lacing is delightfully ducky! ... flavour is well-mannered, but the mouth lacks some fullness- which I can definetly see being a positive on a warmer spring day! .... Goes down effortlessly...

Copacetic!

Bottle. I was at a bar and drank from the bottle, so I don’t know what it looked or smelled like. Flavor was earthy malt, toasted malt, and some bittering hops. A little grassy, but still good. Good session beer.

12oz bottle. Pours a brilliant amber color with a thin, white, somewhat sticky head. Smells crisp, earthy and malty. Hops in the background. Tastes malty with an earthy hop backbone. A touch metallic. Medium body with nice carbonation. Tasty.

Copper color. Smell of roasted malt, hops, grass, spice, pine and some citrus notes. Taste of grains, pine, hops, caramel, minor rye, nuts, and toasted malt.

Bottle. Pours a nice clear amber with a big foamy light tan head that laces, beautiful beer. Balanced aroma with grassy hops and a defined malt body. Very balanced beer, grassy hops finish strong, resinous and fresh but are balanced through the body by a robust malt body making this very drinkable. Medium body, creamy feel. Well crafted beer.

Northwestern hops jump into your nose, along with grainey maltingTaste is a mild awareness of pine hops, balanced by a slightly sweet malt both which faded quickly into an easy bitterness. The hoppiness is always welcome, but it is toned down compared to several other harvest ales

On tap at Coles Buffalo NY. Pours a nice copper color. aroma was rather Plain Jane, slight bitter hop aroma, some malts. Very easy drinking & not at all offending. Nothing tremendous, bitterness falls short but a nice new session beer
