Commercial Description:
Our ESB blends the best of English tradition with the boldness of West Coast style. A blend of malts featuring British-grown Maris Otter is balanced with the earthy spiciness of hand-selected English and US hops. The ale is left unfiltered which enhances mouthfeel and hop aroma creating a slightly reddish copper hue.

Poured a lightly cloudy copper orange color. There was a nice tan head that became a thin wispy head rather quickly. A nice floral hoppy aroma. There was a nice bite with a clean crisp dry taste. Nice refreshing beer.

Bottle. Pours a nice ruddy copper color with a short-lived soapy white head. Lightly hoppy aroma with some sweetish malts underneath. Nice, easy drinking taste - has a stronger hop profile than most ESBs. The hops float nicely over a biscuity malt base. Pretty nice. I’ve sessioned this a few times.

Hazy, dark amber, with a nice, rocky off-white head. Nose is aggressively bitter, somewhat musty, with a bit of cheese. Dry flavor, quite bitter, musty, not much of interest going on there.

Pours a four-finger white head that fades slowly to a thin layer leaving some lace. Clear amber color. Hoppy nose. Light-medium carbonation and medium bodied. Flavor is hoppy but it is a mild ESB with slight lingering bitter aftertaste. 12oz bottle $1.50 from Capitol Convenience Concord, NH.

Somehow an disappointment - perhaps because i connect the ESB with something else than this! The tase was rather neutral, not bad just not very intreasting.

Copper color. Two finger head. Not much in the aroma. I had to drink two of these to really find something that sorta stood out. mild malt/hops. Biscuit. Not much to it but oddly pretty drinkable.

Well, pours a clear copper color with excellent fluffy off white head with great retention and it laces the glass. Aroma is floral, taste is somewhat simple though, seems light, but nice, semi sweet malt and honey with fresh tasting bitter hops at the end....not bad at all, it actually almost seems like a nice bodied session beer....I like it.
