Some citrus in the aroma and flavor with hops, finishes rather bitter but watery. Honestly could not tell if it was a pale ale or IPA, it really was that watered down. Poured a clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus, resin and earthy aroma. Medium body with a slick texture and soft carbonation. Medium bitter flavor with a medium bitter finish of moderate duration.
My expectations where met and this beer would go well with spicy food. mnurda (434), Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada

But I quite liked this one. Great hop taste with the right amoutn of maltiness. blipp (1735), Newark, New Jersey, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Mar 16, 2009 Draft. Pours amber orange with a lasting khaki head. Sweet hoppy aroma, resinous, piny and citric. The flavor has a load of hops, seemed a bit astringent to me, with notes of floral and pine. Pretty good. timfoolery (484), California, USA

Indeed the smell of hops for this one was intense, but the citrus was a little lost in this brew. I’m sure it’s been in their fridge for a while. We still got some pine, and it was very smooth. The smell of hops was intense. I was actually expecting more citrus hop flavor, but in was very piney in flavor. Excellant blend of hops and malt backbone. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Feb 19, 2009 Since the hop season was last year I can assume this beer is about five months old. Pours clear amber with a big inch of of white fluffy head. Very nicely laced. Aroma is citrus and caramel. Taste is full citrus bitter hops with a bit of leather and a very supportive caramel malt backbone. Mouthfeel is full and a bit wine like. Drinkability is very good for an IPA. Slightly sweet for the style but hops probably have faded a bit due to age.

Piny hops, lemons, grass, and a malty sweet backbone to the aroma. Flavor is hoppy bitter, sweet malt, with light alcohol noticeable in the finish. A bit sticky sweet.
