Draft at Jerry’s. Dark amber with big, foamy beige head / Candied citrus and dry hop nose / Medium body, semisweet and creamy, with mellow, aromatic hops and good, bitter finish / Flavors of weed, pine, grapefruit, and candied orange peel / This wet hopped seems a little smoother than most IPAs, but still with a bitter punch at the end.

Big ol’ 40oz’er. Amber pour with a healthy head. The aroma is spicy but also has noticeable citrus and grain. Very flavorful. Very spicy hops that make my tongue tingle. Spicy just keeps coming to mind as well as noticing the solid malt grain background. Medium body, semi-dry. I’d drink this again, and though it is not my favorite hop profile, I enjoyed this one.

24 oz bottle. Clear copper with a puffy off-white head. Nose is fresh pine and faint orange peel. Medium light with a sprinkling of carb. Taste like the nose with semi-sweet citrus and bready pine. A slight bitter finish with hints of green olive. Not bad but lacks the vibrancy of other fresh hops i’ve tried.

Bottle from South Bay Drugs. Pours with a large development of white thick head while the beer is a clear glowing orange. There is a strong fresh aroma that is over dominated by hops and a faint background of bread or grains. Flavor is more interesting with the sweet and sticky reward of fresh green hop that taste organic and natural. Texture is oily yet sticky with a dense mouth feel and bitter metallic aftertaste.

2008 bottle pours crystal clear orange copper with a big pillow like head that sticks to the sides. The aroma is of hop oils and citrus. The flavor is solid hop with lots of citrus and pine and a pronounced orange grapefruit juice foundation. The palate is medium to rich bodied with good carbonation. Overall this is so good, I’m glad I got the two.

On tap, pours a copper with a nice off white head. Citrus hop aroma. Interesting beer, not really a lot of hoppy flavor but a very nice bitter after bite to it. I enjoyed it.

Bottle. Pours clear amber, with a medium biege head, good lacing. Smells of pine resin and citrus. Medium, dry body. Mild malty flavor at first, quickly changes to bitter predominately citrus and pine hop flavor, with a long bitter aftertaste. There’s a lot of complexity in the hop flavors.

From a 24 oz. bottle purchased locally. Aroma is a wonderful mix of hops, citrus, pine and a little spice. A clear amber with a rocky off-white head that remains. Taste is again full of hops complimenting the aroma with orange peel and pine. Firmly bitter, rich toasted malt but not sweet. Medium to full bodied but finishes fairly dry. Easy to drink. A great example of a well-crafted wet hop beer.
