Commercial Description:
This is one of the only estate-made ales available in the world today. Produced with hops and barley produced on the premises of our brewery in Chico, this ale reflects the flavors of our surroundings in California’s fertile central valley. By growing out own ingredients, we ensure the finest two-row barley and the freshest hops on earth, from the field and into the brew kettle.

24 oz. bottle courtesy of Eithcubes. Pours an average, creamy, pitted, tan, lacing head. Clear, deep copper body. Big, sweaty citrus aroma with some pine. Flavor is more citric hops, caramel malt and a touch of bread. Medium bodied, somewhat resinous, average carbonation with a big bitter finish. Pretty good, but it gets heavy after a while.

Limp ivory head atop orange ale. Dank piney hop aroma, urine and toffee, background bubblegum and pollen. Crackery and fruity flavor with rye beer spiciness, rough alcohol, and a sharp "wild" hop taste. Stale marshmallows? An overall "dairy" impression, like cream that’s been left out all day. The barest hint of diacetyl becomes glaring once the beer warms a bit. Glassy texture. Citric and cigar butt bitter aftertaste. Tastes like a barleywine gone awry. Smooth, it most definitely is not. Pretty crude.

24 ounce bottle from the Utah State Wine Store. Pours a clear copper color with a massive white foamy head. The aroma is crisp toasted malts, caramel and citrus hops. A smooth flavor; toasted biscuits, rich citrus hops, light bitter finish. Smooth and very clean. Nice. Very fresh tasting.

Honey gold, with an inch of dimpled tan head. Aroma is sweet and citrusy with honey notes, and grapefruit zest. Flavor is subdued malt, with a grainy edge that seems to blend with alcohol bitterness, and light, almost lemon zesty hop finish. $6/24oz

Bomber. Pours dark amber like apple juice with a tight 2-finger head. The aroma is all earthy hops with a hint of caramel. It doesn’t so much smell like hops as hop bitterness. The flavor is hop bitterness with a hint of citrusy sour. If you search you can find light bread and biscuit.
