Commercial Description:
Our Harvest Ale was the first American beer ever brewed with 100% fresh picked, "wet hops." In just one day, we harvest hops in Yakima, WA, ship them that night to our brewery in Chico, CA, and then rush them into the brew kettle as they are unloaded at dawn the next day.

This extraordinary effort creates a beer with unmatched aromatics of pine and citrus with layers of spicey sweet notes that hop fanatic like us dream of all year. Enjoy!

Clear amber color pour with a thick, long lasting tan head. Big spicy, grassy hop aroma, with a touch of honey. Flavor is big and hoppy as well, with some sweet malt trying to balance things out. A touch of citrus peel and alcohol on the finish. Smooth on the palate. Very nice!

Pours a clear copper with a moderate off white head. Huge hops and a little spice. Huge hops, not surprisingly, flavor but extremely smooth. Nice dry finish. Excellent beer.

Pours a beautiful copper amber with a tall, thick beige head. Delicious aroma of honey and piney hops. Amazing crisp malt flavor up front, usually lacking in IPAs. The flavor is a pronounced honey with a slightly roasty sweet spruce. The finish is a great piney hop flavor with a few spicey notes and very low bitterness. Very unique flavor and very enjoyable.

Pours an orange amber with an off-white head. Ridiculous hop aroma, mainly grass and pine, not too much fruit. Flavor is more of the hops but with a lot of spice as well. Not bitter at all. I wish the obnoxious spice notes were a little better balanced. Still a solid beer though.

24oz. pours copper with decent off white head. aroma is citrus and some fresh green. mouthful has a earthy grass hop that fades to citrus then a bitterness. much more robust than the southern hemi.

Barnyard aroma, grass, hay, weeds, caramel, and musk. Pours a thick transparent amber red with a thick frothy head and decent carbonation. Flavor is grassy and smooth: caramel, roastyness, and candy sweetness. Palate is smooth and tasty, easily drinkable.

24 oz. bottle. Copper pour with a large, chunky, pillow of a head that lasted the entire length of the drink. The smell was great. Pine hops dominate the aroma, with a balancing act of sweet malts. The flavor is similar; well balanced with a slight peppery kick and great hop taste without being bitter at all.

bottle. Pours nice copper color. smooth little sweetness and great malt flavors. Overall I was impressed mostly because of dollar value and quality for a 24oz bottle.
