We used CO2 to dispense the beer but the head was so tight and creamy it appeared to have been poured with a nitrogen / CO2 mixture. This really is a great effort by Sierra Nevada and it makes me feel better about the brewery since I think their flagship pale ale has been slipping in flavor in recent years. I wish it was available year round but due to the way they make it this would be impossible. Nice and citric. Very nice body and color. A must have in autumn. GreatLibations (1447), Last Supper, Arizona, USA

Superb hangtime reducing slowly to a full fluffy ring and island spatter. Aromas of fresh, bright, crispy hops. Nice! Full nectar w/ creamy residual effers. Abundant citrus rind tempered by a dense caramel malt component. Beautifully balanced this specimen is exceptional. The finish is long and thirsty. Overall: I really like the sharpness of the hops. The balance is supreme. Highly recommended. expatriatetobe (2), San Marcos, Texas, USA does not count | 5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 20/20 | Feb 8, 2009 My favorite beer ever. This is all I drink in Texas in the fall. So sad to see it disappear from the shelves when the season is over. partyninja (17), Portland, Oregon, USA

Im soo lost for words here, i was verging on another 5 with this, i had to comepletly rerate it 3 times to make sre i wasnt twister and all 3 rating are very different, however all come to the same mind blowing conculsion that this is one of the finest bers in the world. Rich hop resins the the aroma, peppery lychee, citrus, pink grapefruit. Taste is rich malts, perfectly balanced with the hops. Id take a wild guess and say this is infact the exact same beer as the celebration however with fresher hops. I just love this, its amazing its soo drinkable and soo morish id really be a happy man if i could just have some of this every week even just a glass and no other beer. Outstanding and world class. The aroma is of fresh hops, and the taste is dominated by a nice flowery hop profile. The finish is wonderful as is this beer. Simply magnificant.
