Commercial Description:
Our Harvest Ale was the first American beer ever brewed with 100% fresh picked, "wet hops." In just one day, we harvest hops in Yakima, WA, ship them that night to our brewery in Chico, CA, and then rush them into the brew kettle as they are unloaded at dawn the next day.

This extraordinary effort creates a beer with unmatched aromatics of pine and citrus with layers of spicey sweet notes that hop fanatic like us dream of all year. Enjoy!

24oz, 2009 13th release: Pours a clear orange copper color with a long lasting rocky white head, pine and citrus in the aroma, starts and ends bitter with some sweetness after it goes down, mild carbonation, medium bodied with a nice ending.

24oz. bottle for 6 bucks! Pours a clear orange/amber body with a large, long lasting cream colored head. Nice lacing also. Aroma is hops, pine, caramel, toasted malts with some sweet notes. Flavor full of hops, grapefruit, malts, and some breads. Full mouthfeel, slick mouthfeel. Nice bitter finish. Really nice beer from SN.

good solid IPA which makes me wonder why they dont use either this or their anniversary recipe’s for their regular IPA which is not nearly as good. nice west coast formula except for the palate which stripped my mouth after a pint, but very nice, i like the wet hop version a little better

Clear red/copper color w/ thick white head, piney hop aroma w/ hints of toasted marshmallow, assertive and clean malty body that coats and softens the bitter finish, great velvety body

25th August 2008. This was a 2007 11th Edition. Unsurprisingly hoppy but quite bitter as well. Some sweetish malt coming through. Very drinkable.

TAP: clear dark gold pour, monster foam head. Mild hop nose, pine and citrus hop on taste. Definitely taste the similarity between this and Surly Wet.

Aroma is of impressive hops and pine. Pours a very nice reddish amber with a nice size head that is retained very well. Flavor is bursting with sticky hops on the tougue, balanced very well for an IPA with a relatively clean finish. This has to be one of the best IPAs I have had.

A hop head’s delight. Intense hop aroma from a cloudy, reddish brown pour. Nice fluffy head laces the glass. Flavor is a sweet malt at front followed by a heavy hop it. Finish is very dry with a very nice after taste. Very well done.
