Dark brown with ruby highlights. Aroma shows orange, chocolate and a lot of fruity yeast. Taste run on the roasted side up front, but carries a significant bitterness and citrusy hop finish. Medium-full body, dry finish with long lasting hop and chocolate notes. beerandIT (183), Richmond, Virginia, USA

Medium bodied. Nice lacing on the glass! On the palate I am getting hops subtle malts and thats about it. Stays around nicely for awhile though. Not sublimely but still a nice different beer. marcus (1864), Sacramento, California, USA

Near opaque brown with a large tan head. Aromas of malt and rather floral hop. Medium plus body with foamy carbonation. Flavor is dark malt with a good deal of hop bitter. Bitter continues right through the finish. A candidate for black IPA.
