Commercial Description:
Brewed using a blend of English malts. Magnum hops are used for the early hop addition, with Goldings for finishing and dry hopping. A very flavorful and hoppy ale.

Bottle. Amber colour with a stable off-white head. Fruity, hoppy aroma with notes of peach & apricot. Nice fruity flavour with piney hops and a high bitterness. Nice!

12 oz. bottle. Light amber color with small head. Mild aroma with honey, flowers and watermelon. Fruity hop flavor with rounded caramelly, raisiny and bisquity malts. Bitter-sweet finish. Suprisingly simple for a Sierre Nevada. Rounded caramel flavor detracts from the hop character.

Really good appearance. Taste like their PA. Maybe even less hoppy??? Therefore, it’s a terrible representation of an IPA. Not near enough of a hoppy aroma or bite. Aweful representation of the style.

Pint from the tap at the Lookout Restuarant, Martha’s Vineyard. Copper color, medium head. Crisp start with some citrus flavor. Not too bitter. Good beer. Would order it again.

Golden to amber with a small orange head. Malts acctually dominate the aroma, with a nice caramel sweetness and underlying notes of grass and hobs. Some creamy fruity notes aswell, pineapple prolly. Flavor is pretty wellbalanced, juicy sweet notes and a definate dry and very bitter finish that lingers on for quite awhile, and leaves your tongue completly pale. Wonderfull

Bottle. Dissappointing. Aroma is muted, stale, piney hop notes. Palate is stale and metallic, theres none of those fragrant floral, assertive bitter hops i associate with the style. Just metallic stale piney, weedy hop notes. Alcohol is noticeable, and its not very complex or anything. What a let down, even the regular pale ale is better than this IMO.

Not really the best IPA. I can thing of many local beers that I would take over this. The Pale ale is a much better choice.

12 oz. bottle from Pat. Make-up beer. Gotta love it. Verry bitter and spicy. Kinda hard to drink on an empty stomach. Chicken noodle soup will change that. Nice lacing and head never completely dissapears. Good carbonation. Not a bad IPA but I prefer the original sierra nevada pale ale much better. Too intense at this moment, but I will try again later.
